Abstract
The histopathology of indirect siderosis bulbi, induced by Fe intraocular foreign bodies which penetrated into the posterior segment of the eye [human], was reported. Fe ions disperse into the vitreous first and in the aqueous humor later, and then they enter all the tissues which surround the vitreous and the aqueous. Fe ions penetrate also into the suprachoroidal space through the angle. The importance of this route of penetration on the appearance of atypical ERG [electroretinographic] finding in siderosis bulbi was briefly mentioned. Keywords
