Abstract
Evaporation rates from a rapidly rotating planet are considerably augmented over those from a stationary planet. Simply regarding the rotation as diminishing the surface gravity may greatly underestimate the evaporation rate. Evaporating material carries off an angular momentum per unit mass larger than that of the remaining material. Keywords
