Abstract

A 69-year-old man of mixed racial background was discovered to have a large, deeply pigmented mass in his left eye with a history of rapid growth during the previous 6 months. The eye was enucleated, and histopathological examination revealed an epithelioid malignant melanoma arising from a melanocytoma. RETINA 8:67-72, 1988.
