Abstract
Gophacide [O, O bis (p-chlorophenyl) acetimidolyphosphora-midothioate] was evaluated as a control agent for Ord''s kangaroo rat (Dipodomys ordii) at 11 test sites near Roggins, Weld County, Colorado. Three baiting methods reduced den-system activity 88. 5 to 100%. Tests conducted with untreated grain indicated that the animal''s bait-gathering efficiency is high. No secondary hazards nor dangers to nontarget species were observed.
