Abstract
Presentation of CaseA sixty-eight-year-old man was admitted to the hospital because of pain radiating to the flank.On the day of entry he experienced the sudden onset of a twitching sensation in the left pectoral region, followed immediately by pain in the left side of the abdomen and chest with radiation to the left flank and periscapular region. The pain was colicky at times; it did not radiate to the groin or testes. There was no nausea, vomiting, cough or dyspnea, and he had no hematuria or dysuria.He had previously been in good health.
