Abstract
The accurate measurement of gauge pressures up to about 1 kPa has important applications, especially in the field of air speed measurement; this includes aircraft and wind-tunnel instrumentation. In this review the numerous fundamental methods of measuring small gauge pressures are presented and the uncertainties associated with the various methods estimated. A brief outline of the procedures employed for the calibration of other instruments is also given. Keywords
