Abstract
Two commercially harvested marine polychaetes, Glycera dibranchiata and Nereis virens, were successfully tagged with coded microwire tags placed in the coelomic cavity. Mortalities incurred during the experimental periods appear to be subject to the animals' sensitivity of being held under laboratory conditions rather than the tagging procedures. Average tag retention for the experiment was 82% among survivors. Keywords
