Abstract
The environmental effects of coal mining on the chemical composition of Trout Creek in Colorado [USA] are investigated using Individualized Differences Scaling [IDS] and Canonical Correlation [CC] Analysis. IDS shows superiority over CC in the analysis of several matrices of measurements when the hypothesis of commonality of chemistry between each matrix cannot be justified a priori. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
