Abstract
Various explanations have been put forward to account for the low angle x‐ray scattering from cold worked metals. The experimental results obtained by an examination of individual grains of polycrystalline fatigue specimens indicate that double Bragg reflection plays an important role in this phenomenon. The fatigue process resulted in the formation of subgrains, the misorientations within a grain amounting to 15°.This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
