Abstract
The nonrelativistic limit of the Born cross section for electron-electron bremsstrahlung is integrated over a Maxwell-Boltzmann electron distribution. Results for the spectrum are compared with the electron-ion () bremsstrahlung spectrum found in the literature. The long-wavelength limit is obtained and compared with recent classical calculations. Corrections to the spectrum for low temperatures and high frequencies are discussed. It is concluded that at electron temperatures keV, electron-electron bremsstrahlung should be included in calculations of the emission spectrum, especially in the short-wavelength region.
