Abstract
Hydraulic-network models have been used to study transient flow phenomena in pressurized water reactor plants. The nature of the differential equations associated with these networks imposes severe time-step restrictions on explicit numerical integration methods. This paper develops a convergent, implicit method which, when used in conjunction with a block inversion technique, produces an efficient numerical integration procedure for the network equations. Keywords
