Scotland, and the middle of England showed that rabbit remains occurred in 55% of all samples, rodents in 19%, sheep in 18.9%, insects in 15.5%, birds in 15.5%, poultry in 10.3% and other items in smaller amts. Most of the rabbits and sheep taken were young animals. Preda-tion on sheep and rodents was greater in the hill district of Wales than in middle England. Keywords
