Abstract
Absorption tests with chimpanzee blood showed that anti-D, anti-C, and anti-E agglutinins were not absorbed, but anti-c was. The cells failed to absorb the anti-e agglutinin. The failure to absorb anti-E or anti-e means that the chimpanzee has neither of the antigens detd. by the E-e locus in man. The chimpanzee may have a 3d antigen detd. by the same locus, or more probably, the locus is absent. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
