Abstract
A new method for estimation of the reliability of generation supply in a single compact system or in an interconnected system is described. Measures of reliability calculated using the new method are 1) capacity deficiency rate, 2) expected duration of capacity deficient period, and 3) "loss-of-load probability."Keywords
