Types, numbers, and distribution of antennal and palpal sensilla have been determined for female Wyeomyia aporonoma Dyar and Knab and male and female Wyeomyia smithii (Coquillett). W. aporonoma has more antennal sensilla than female W. smithii. The male of W. smithii has female-like antennae and short palps. The same variety and distribution of sensilla occur on male W. smithii as on the female, but there are fewer of each type. The Wyeomyia species are compared to previously described Aedes and Culex species. Data are analyzed on a density as well as a total number basis.
