Abstract
A test is described for selective inhibition of M. tuberculosis and M. bovis isolates in fluid medium. The method employs .rho.-nitro-.alpha.-acetyl-amino-.beta.-hydroxy-propiophenone (NAP) as an inhibitory agent for differentiation of mammalian tuberculosis strains from other mycobacteria. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
