Abstract
Two new flavonoid compounds, named sophoraisoflavanone A, mp [melting point] 178-180.degree., C21H22O6, and sophoraflavanone B, mp 193-195.degree., C20H20H20O5, together with sophoronol, isosophoranone and isobavachin were isolated from the aerial parts of S. tomentosa L. In addition, a new phenolic compound, mp 108-110.degree., C27H44O4, was also isolated. The structures were determined by chemical and spectroscopic studies. Sophoraisoflavanone A exhibited antifungal activity. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
