Abstract
Growth and development of the pouch young in a captive population of T. billardierii are described. The least variable measurement at different ages was head length; the relationship between head length in centimetres (H) and age, up to 30 weeks (A) of young in the pouch was given by: H = 0.8643 + 0.2452A.
