Abstract
Hymenolepis chalinolobi n. sp. is described from the small intestine of the New Zealand long‐tailed bat, Chalinolobus tuberculatus (Forster, 1844). The tapeworm is distinguished by its small size (16–19 mm), 23 hooks, and the shape of the ovary and testes.Keywords
