Abstract
The effects of propranolol (1 mg/kg per h infused into the renal artery) on the diuretic action of furosemide (20 mg/kg i.v.) were studied in pentobarbital anesthetized dogs. The urine remained isotonic to the plasma during the 6 h following the furosemide injection; the urinary output of Na and water, measured during 6 h after furosemide injection, was increased; the renin hypersecretion was inhibited. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
