Abstract
In this paper we provide a supplementary set of truncation numbers (n0) for δ ∗-values not studied in Bechhofer and Goldsman (1987). These are necessary to implement the truncated sequential selection procedure (p BT ). Performance characteristics are given for p BT used with the new n0-values. A by-product of this study was the discovery of a remarkable and completely unexpected pattern among the estimated n0-values. The practical implications of this finding are indicated. Keywords
