Abstract
Myocardial infarction was produced in dogs by wedging a catheter in a large branch of a coronary artery. 133Xenon in solution was delivered to the infarct through the catheter and its clearance is a measure of collateral flow. This was sustained over 6 to 12 hr of measurement, and often increased temporarily at first. Keywords
