Abstract
PORPHYRIA is a relatively uncommon metabolic disorder that has engaged the interest of many investigators. The protean manifestations have led to a classification of the various types as seen in clinical practice.1 , 2 We have recently observed a form of chronic porphyria characterized by the paroxysmal nocturnal nature of the porphyrinuria.
