Abstract
There was no relationship between the number of reversals and carles reduction. It was easier to recognize caries lesions clinically in the SnF2 dentifrice group than In any other groups, due to the discoloring action of the Sn Ions. It was more difficult to detect carles lesions In the group given dally mouthwashes with 0.05% NaF solution than In the other groups, indicating that the fluoride mouthwashes had established a higher remlnerallzatlon tendency In this group. A comparison of X-ray data did not support the hypothesis that the discoloration of carious sites caused by S11F2 preparations signify an arrest of the carious process. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
