Abstract
The microscopic appearance of 37 distal ureteral resection specimens from 27 children with recurrent urinary tract infections and vesicoureteral reflux are compared to postmortem specimens of 51 distal ureters from 28 children with no history of urinary tract disease. The degree of fibrosis and inflammatory change varied a great deal in both groups; no consistent differences were found. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
