Abstract
A fresh-water ostracode fauna, consisting of 5 genera, is described. Two new genera, PRUVOSTINA and HILBOLDTINA, are established. Many lamellibranchs also occur in the fauna. The fauna is compared with Pennsylvania fresh-water fossils in Europe and found to be remarkably similar. On the basis of the non-marine fauna the Kanawha is correlated in part with Westphalian B. The Modiolaris and Similis-Pulchra zones are recognized in the Kanawha. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
