Abstract
An in vitro method of measuring the abrasivities of dentifrices and abrasive powders on human dental enamel has been developed. The method, based on a proven dentin abrasivity method, records, in absolute terms, the abrasive effects of brushing flat, nonirradiated, enamel specimens beneath an aqueous slurry of the test material with the use of a surface profile meter. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
