Abstract
Guinea pigs were exposed to concentrations of 10 mg/m3 of SO2 NO2 or a combination of the two gases continuously for up to 6 months. No clear-cut effect of the exposure to either the single or the combined gases was established. There was no significant change in respiratory frequency, flowrate or minute volume as compared with the control animals exposed in the same way to clean air. Similarly, the increase of body weight during the exposure time showed no significant difference. Keywords
