Abstract
The author presents his experience with hyperhidrosis treatment using type-A botulinum toxin. The drug was applied on axillary, palmar, plantar, facial, inguinal, and gluteus areas for a 36-month period. The effect achieved—sweating decrease—was observed in 100% of the patients for a variable period ranging from 5 to 14 months. There was a slight decrease in hand muscle strength in some cases, which was spontaneously recovered after 2 weeks. Keywords
