Abstract
The Moral Content Components Test was administered to 425 students enrolled at Brigham Young and Iowa State Universities and their parents. Through a factor analysis it was found that the eight component scales described by Boyce and Jensen could be reduced to three factors. The three moral content factors were Act, Rule, and Deontological orientations. These three factors are viewed as the fundamental units of the theoretical model proposed by Boyce and Jensen. Keywords
