Inelastic scattering ofof 27 MeV/Ato giant resonances

Abstract
Inelastic scattering spectra have been measured with 245 MeV incident energy ions on a target. They show large excitation of the giant quadrupole resonance. Distorted-wave Born-approximation calculations are reported and compared with the data.
