Corrections to the Experimental Value for the Electrong-Factor Anomaly

A recalculation of the $g$-factor anomaly of the free electron, based on the data of Wilkinson and Crane, results in the value $a=0.001\mathrm{}159557\pm 30\times {10}^{-9\mathrm{}}$. This is lower than theoretical estimates by more than the quoted experimental error.
