Infinitesimal perturbations of rational maps

Abstract
We analyse the infinitesimal effect of holomorphic perturbations of the dynamics of a structurally stable rational map on a neighbourhood of its Julia set. This implies some restrictions on the behaviour of critical points.Keywords
