Abstract
For pt.III see ibid., vol.9, no.5, p.753 (1976). It is shown that Ergun's (1952) and Jones's (1956) equations for the flow of fluids through granular beds are mutually consistent and may be converted one to the other, thus giving a large body of experimental support for both. Keywords
