ON SOME FORMULAE FOR INTEGRALS OF ASSOCIATED LEGENDRE FUNCTIONS

The integrals $∫-1+1Pnm(u)PNM(u)du$ and $∫01Pnm(u)PNm(u)du$ which arise in problems of electromagnetic induction are evaluated using mathematical induction. The first is obtained as a finite series and the second as a product.
