Abstract
Formulations are presented for the second quantized versions of the field theories which lead to Corben's equations of motion. It is demonstrated that an indefinite metric is required to guarantee positive energies for all the particles, but that otherwise the theories are physically unambiguous. The number and properties of the resulting particles are studied and compared with the conclusions from previous work. Alternative formulations are also discussed. Keywords
