Abstract
A study of the coral faunas of two limestone zones intercalated in the Bajocian (Jurassic) of the southern Jura region, France, one in the Sonninia sowerbyi zone (lower Bajocian) and the other at the top of the Otoites sauzei and in the Witchellia romani zones (middle Bajocian). New species described are Isastrea alloiteaui, Latomeandra thorali, and Periseris pressiatensis. Since no species is found in both lower and middle Bajocian, the stratigraphy can be based on corals, where ammonites are lacking.
