Abstract
The reflection of a plane wave in a plasma at a metal boundary is discussed by using the linear continuum theory. A positive sheath is the consequence of requiring the net current flow into the boundary to be zero. The dipole antenna in a plasma is considered from the scattering point of view. Integral equations for the dipole fields are derived but not solved. The fields and radiation resistances for a short linear current filament are given. Keywords
