Effects of Neonatal Thymectomy on Immunity against Listeria monocytogenes Infection

Abstract
In mice thymectomized at birth, the protective immunity against Listeria monocytogenes infection was markedly impaired. The time required for the death caused by lethal Listeria infection was considerably longer in neonatally thymectomized mice than in sham-thymectomized mice.
