Abstract
Capillary gas chromatography interfaced with atmospheric pressure helium microwave-induced plasma atomic emission spectrometry has been employed to study the solution-ligand re-distribution reactions of fluorinated gallium, indium and aluminium β-diketonates under various conditions. Element-specific detection for carbon, gallium, indium and aluminium provided a means of elucidating both the qualitative and quantitative reactions of complex formation and ligand exchange. Keywords
