Scheduled immunization is one of the most important ways that individuals can protect themselves and their children from preventable communicable disease. Through diligent public health efforts, diseases that were once considered common have been mostly eradicated, sparing millions from not only the disease themselves, but their potentially devastating after-effects.Keywords
