Abstract
The author reviews his work with oncogenic viruses (polyoma virus and SV40) concerning the molecular basis of cancer induction, beginning with viral and cellular events in cell transformation. The nature of cancer and perspectives for prophylaxis and treatment are discussed. This publication has 45 references indexed in Scilit:
