Abstract

• A case of two gastric carcinoid tumors accompanied by diffuse argyrophil-cell hyperplasia occurred in a 39-year-old woman. One of the gastric carcinoid tumors demonstrated stromal ossification. Diffuse argyrophil-cell hyperplasia accompanied by gastric carcinoid tumors has been reported previously. The significance of this association is unknown. (Arch Surg 116:118-121, 1981)
