Abstract
A technic for microscopic microbiological assay was elaborated in which droplets of total incubation mixture down to 0.010 [mu]1 volume were employed under oil. Measurement of bacterial growth by light scatter was used. The technic was applied to determination of biotin to 10 15 g with approximately the same percent accuracy and precision as the macrotechnic with ml-volumes.
