Experimental Observation of Current Generation by Unidirectional Electron Plasma Waves

Abstract
A slow-wave structure was used to launch electron plasma waves traveling preferentially in one direction. The current generated by the waves was observed. The magnitude of the current can be estimated from momentum conservation in the wave-particle interaction process.Keywords
