Abstract
THIS paper summarizes our experience in using intravenous intubation in chronically ill patients for continuous or repetitive venoclyses. It is our impression that this method has a definite adjunctive value in hospital therapy and that it saves patients considerable hardship and renders less difficult the work of physicians and nurses in the management of the chronically ill.This method is well illustrated in our treatment of a 35-year old woman with Marie–Strümpell arthritis.
