Abstract
Infrared spectra have been obtained for normal and isotopically labeled methyl borate, B(OCH3)3 and B10(OCH3)3, in the liquid and vapor phases over the NaCl and KBr spectral regions. Raman spectra have been obtained for normal and B10‐labeled methyl borate in the liquid phase. The assignment of fundamental frequencies given is consistent with the C3h point group. Normal vibrations for planar molecules of the MX3 type are correlated graphically. Keywords
