Abstract
Oblique and orthogonal factor analyses were performed on a data set produced by the administration of the Sexual Interaction Inventory to 32 former clients of a sexual dysfunction clinic. The analyses resulted in factor sets which are multiple and essentially psychologically meaningless. On the basis of the administration and the factor analysis results, several difficulties with the instrument are discussed. These are concerned with the question format, the distribution of the data, and the logical structure of the instrument. Keywords
