Abstract
The authors have measured the limit of supercooling in a binary mixture of 2-6-lutidine and water an order of magnitude nearer to the critical point than has been possible in previous experiments. This adds to the evidence of enhanced relative supercooling in fluids near the critical point. A recent theoretical prediction of this effect is also reported here. Keywords
