Abstract
Coronary artery spasm has become a frequently recognized cause of angina. Since spontaneous spasm is a rare occurrence, a number of provocative tests have been proposed. We will not discuss the different criteria of various tests, but having compared them, it seems to us that the ergometrine is the most sensitive, the most reproducible and the easiest to perform. Thus we will discuss only the ergometrine test. Keywords
